The Department of Computer Science is pleased to report that Carol Anne Kleemann, mother of the late Dr. Steven Seiden has made a donation in the amount of $10,000 to create a "Donor Restricted Scholarship " to be endowed in his name.

The College of Basic Sciences will make sure that an outstanding student in computer science will benefit from this scholarship.

About Dr. Steven Seiden: Dr. Steve Seiden, who has been on the faculty of Computer Science since 1999, has a doctorate in Information and Computer Science from University of California, Irvine. He was a very promising faculty in the department. Dr. Steve Seiden was hit by a truck while riding his bike with a number of others and he died on the spot on 06/12/2002.
