Nanotechnology at the Interface of Information Technology Faburary 7-9, 2002

AIM

To bring together experimenters, theorists, and simulators from the physical, computer, and biological sciences and engineering to discuss the latest developments in information, bio and nanotechnologies.

SCOPE
Unprecedented opportunities exist at the interface of Info-Bio-Nano technologies. Petaflop computing in GRID environment and shared interactive & immersive visualization will allow seamless simulations from atomic to macroscopic length scales. Combined with novel experimental methods, these methodologies will lead to remarkable advances in nanostructured materials and devices comprising of biochemical systems/self-organized monolayers/metal-ceramic-semiconductor interfaces
