News Archives Newsletters Dr. Peter Chen has been appointed as a new member for the Air Force Scientific Advisory Board (AFSAB)   Congratulations to Dr. Peter Chen, M. J. Foster Distinguished Chair Professor of Computer Science, on his appointment as a new member for the Air Force Scientific Advisory Board (AFSAB) has been approved by the White House on October 4, 2005. He was also serving in the advisory board for the National Science Foundation's Directorate for Computer and Information Science Engineering from 2004. The board is composed of experts from academia and industry.
