Prof. Peter Chen's ER Model paper has been selected as an important publication in computer science by Wikipedia
Prof. Peter Chen's paper on the Entity-Relationship (ER) Model has been selected as an important publication in Computer Science, which is a part of the "Science Pearls" project of Wikipedia recording the great works of Einstein, Darwin, and others.
Ten years ago, his paper was also selected as one of the 38 most influential papers in Computer science by a survey of over 1,000 professors and was included in a book, entitled, Great Papers in Computer Science.
It is also one of the most downloaded papers in the ACM digital library in the past two years.
