We are pleased to report the recognition of our students and faculty at the Honors Convocation was held at the LSU Union Cotillion Ballroom on March 14, 2005. The College recognized many of our outstanding undergraduate students and the faculty. Congratulations to all the students and the faculty for their wonderful accomplishments.

1. College of Basic Sciences Teaching Award:
   
   Dr. Jianhua Chen, Associate Professor of Computer Science, was awarded Graduate Teaching Award at the Honors Convocation.
