We are pleased to report the recognition of our students and faculty at the Honors
Convocation was held at the LSU Union Cotillion Ballroom on March 14, 2005.
The College recognized many of our outstanding undergraduate students and
the faculty. Congratulations to all the students and the faculty for their wonderful
accomplishments.
- College of Basic Sciences Teaching Award:
Dr. Jianhua Chen, Associate Professor of Computer Science, was awarded
Graduate Teaching Award at the Honors Convocation.

credits and have maintained a 3.70 or higher overall and LSU grade point
averages or rank in the top 10% of their major. These students were
enrolled in the College full-time in the Fall 2004 semester and are
