The Computer Science Ph.D. Written General Examination will be given this
spring starting March 13, 2006. A "Ph.D. Written General Examination
Application Form" must be completed and filed with the Computer Science
Department by March 3, 2006 for each student taking this examination.
"Ph.D. Written General Examination Application Forms" are available for
the General Exam online at the following URL:

Completed forms should be returned to Mrs. Vera Watkins in the
Computer Science Departmental Office. There will be two different general exams
this fall: one will be closed book the "old general exam" and the other
will be open book the "new general exam."
