Title: Intro To Computer Science II with C

Catalog Data:
Basic concepts of data types (strings, arrays, records, sets, files); data structures (linked lists, stacks, queues, trees); searching and sorting algorithms.

Recommended Text: Fundamentals of Data Structures in C by Horowitz

Software: Microsoft Visual C++ on Lab PCs or GNU C/C++ on UNIX systems

Goals:
To introduce students to some fundamental data structures, Abstract Data Types. and searching and sorting algorithms.

Prereq:

1. Credit in CSC 1253 and MATH 1550 or registration in MATH 1435.
2. Credit will not be given for both this course and CSC 1251 and CSC 2290.
